How to submit your site to the directories.

To submit your site you must go to each individually and figure out the process. They are all a little different but most have an "add URL" button or somethig on the front page. Just look around It may be at the bottom. It may say something like "submit" or "free listing". When you find the right button, click it. You will fill out a form If they ask something you are uncomfortable with, just leave it blank or go on to the next site. They will probably suggest you upgrade your listing for a few dollars. That is up to you. They may ask you to do something like give a link back. Often they provide a piece of HTML code to paste in your links page. Sometimes they will ask for your banner or logo address.

Keep a master list of sites you submit your site to. You can add to it and prevent duplications. You will also want to create a text file to have available as you do your submissions. Put in it a short and long site description and your address, phone#, etc. then as you are asked for these items you can cut and paste rather than retype each time.
